Even police officers are feeling insecure in Jagan’s rule: Lokesh

TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh alleged that even police officers are feeling insecure in CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule and the recent incident that took place in a police station in Sullurpet reflects this.

During the ongoing padayatra, Lokesh said that the local sub-inspector Ravi Babu, a Dalit, summoned a YSRCP leader, Sunil Reddy, to the police station for counselling. The YSRCP leader not only attacked the Dalit SI for discharging his duties but also filed a reverse case against him, said Lokesh. Another Dalit police inspector, Ananda Rao, from Tadipatri hanged himself to death, unable to bear the pressure from the local ruling party leaders.

Lokesh stated that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has cheated women too, before coming to power Jagan promised to impose total prohibition in the State. “But after coming to power not only he failed to fulfil the promise but also encouraging to sell various kinds of liquor for higher prices. When the tobacco farmers from Cheruvukommupalem, in a memorandum, raised various issues plaguing them, Nara Lokesh promised to set up industries in the Kondapi area immediately after the TDP assumed power to check migrations. Houses for the poor will be built and a decision favourable to the tobacco farmers will be taken after discussing with the officials of the Tobacco Board, he added. Nara Lokesh visited a local godown and had interaction with tobacco grading women daily-wage earners. After hearing their problems he promised to set up industries in the area to provide employment to women.
