Former senior IAS officer GSRKR Vijay Kumar and his wife, Vijayasri, emerged unscathed from a road accident that occurred on Friday night when their car collided with a lorry in Maddipadu of Prakasam district.
Vijay Kumar, who served as the Chief Executive Officer of APSDPS and ex officio Secretary to the Government, Planning department, had taken voluntary retirement a few months ago. He had recently embarked on the ‘Vijay Patham’ padayatra, a journey from Naidupet to Vijayawada.
While en route to Vijayawada, their car collided with a lorry, resulting in severe damage to the front portion of the vehicle. Fortunately, both Vijay Kumar and his wife Vijayasri escaped unharmed.
