Ex-MLA Nara Ramamurthy Naidu passes awayCM Naidu rushes to Hyd from Delhi upon receiving news of his younger brother’s death

Ramamurthy Naidu, the younger brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, passed away at the age of 72. He had been battling a prolonged illness and was admitted to a hospital three days ago. He passed away at 12:45 pm in Hyderabad while on a ventilator.
Naidu was initially brought to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on November 14 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Arrangements are being made for his last rites in his native village, Naravari Palli, in the Chandragiri constituency of Tirupati district, which will be held on Sunday.
Ramamurthy Naidu served as an MLA for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from 1994 to 1999. Later, he joined the Congress Party in 2002 but returned to TDP before stepping away from active politics due to health issues. He is survived by his two sons, Nara Girish and actor Nara Rohit.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who was on a Delhi tour, rushed to Hyderabad, after receiving news of his younger brother’s death. Education Minister Nara Lokesh immediately left for Hyderabad when Naidu’s health worsened. On Twitter, Chandrababu Naidu expressed his grief, describing his brother as a leader who served the people with a pure heart.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and others, including former Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, extended their condolences to the family.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath also expressed his sorrow, calling Naidu’s death a great loss to the family and the public.
