YSRCP leader and former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy was released from Nellore Central Prison on bail on Saturday.
The release followed a court’s decision to grant bail in the Karampudi case. Reddy had been incarcerated for 55 days in connection with charges related to the vandalism of EVMs on polling day.
Upon his release, Reddy was greeted with a grand welcome outside the prison. YSRCP leaders, including former Ministers Kakani Govardhan Reddy and Anil Kumar, were present to receive him. The leaders expressed their concerns over the state’s deteriorating law and order situation and emphasised their commitment to remain engaged with the public without intimidation.
