District Collector K Vetri Selvi has instructed officials to expedite the resolution of revenue cases in courts.
During a video conference with RDOs, Tahsildars, deputy Tahsildars, and other officials on Saturday, the Collector reviewed pending court cases related to lands, freehold properties, and the losses incurred due to floods.
In her review of the pending court cases concerning the Revenue Department, the Collector examined writ petitions, contempt of court cases, document management, and implementation issues.
The Collector directed the relevant officials to submit a report on court cases to the Collectorate. She also emphasised the need to verify the freehold lands in the district and submit a detailed report.
Furthermore, she urged officials to accelerate the process of enumerating flood losses and to complete it as soon as possible. The enumeration report is to be submitted to the Collectorate.
Meanwhile, the Collector commended the government machinery for its efficient and tireless efforts during the floods. She particularly praised Eluru RDO NSK Khajavali and Nuzvid RDO Y Bhavani Shankar for their dedicated service in managing the flood situation. RDO D. Pushmani and other officials were also present at the meeting.
