Minister for housing Jogi Ramesh has alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is resorting to dirty politics in the name of consoling Class 10 student Amarnath family, in spite of the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy providing all possible help to the deceased family including a job. He said that the government will stand by the victim’s family and will set up a fast-track court to ensure that the culprits are punished.

The Minister finds fault with Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu for seeking the votes of the victim’s family in the name of consoling them. He said that such cheap tricks are possible only with the TDP chief and should feel ashamed for such acts.

After learning about the unfortunate incident, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was deeply moved.

Within 24 hours, the police arrested the four accused who were involved in the crime and were produced before the court and sent to remand.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy immediately announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family. In addition to this, the local MP Mopidevi Venkataramana went to their house and handed over Rs 1 lakh immediate help to the victim’s family.

Coming down heavily on Chandrababu, Minister Ramesh alleged that women across the State faced many hardships during the TDP regime and said that Chandrababu did not respond or take any action while Rishiteswari and Vanajakshi case against the accused. He alleged it was the TDP leaders who were involved in Call-Money and Sex-Racket cases during the TDP regime.

The Minister lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu saying that the TDP chief does not have a girl child and does not know the value of women, but we have and we know the love and affection.
