Final voter list for V’nagaram district to be published on Jan 5

District Revenue Officer SD Anitha has announced that the final list of voters, including changes and additions, will be officially published on January 5. The declaration came after a meeting held at the Collectorate on Wednesday evening, attended by representatives from various political parties and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). The gathering aimed to review the ongoing process of revising the list of separate voters and sought input from political party representatives.
Diarvo Anita informed attendees that the deadline for receiving applications for the voter list revision process expired on the 9th of this month. She stated that the examination of these applications will be completed by the 26th of this month. Emphasizing that the process is continuous, Anita mentioned that eligible individuals can still submit Form 6 either directly or online to exercise their right to vote. These applications will be scrutinized and included in the supplementary list, set to be published ten days before nominations.
Addressing concerns about the removal of names from the voter list, Anita noted that notices have already been issued to the individuals involved. The Electoral Registration Officers Venkateshwar Rao, Sudarshan Dora, Nukaraju, Sudharani, Superintendent Srikanth of the Election Department, and representatives of various political parties, including Rongali Potanna, Srinivasa Reddy, Kudumba Rao, Dayanand, Somulu, and others, actively participated in the meeting.
