Finally, Nithiin locks his film release date at IPL time

Last year, actor Nithiin’s films were not released and he is looking forward to this New Year. His film ‘Robinhood’ was supposed to be released last year, but due to some reasons, it got postponed. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film is produced by big production house Mythri Movie Makers. Their film ‘Pushpa 2’ released on December 5, and they initially planned to release ‘Robinhood’ on December 25. But the makers thought that the film may not get a number of screens, because of their other film ‘Pushpa 2’. So they postponed.
Many expected that they may compete at the Sankranthi festival with other films, but they didn’t release at that time either. Now, the makers announced the release date as March 28. The actor needs a good break as his last two films tanked at the box-office. His last successful film was ‘Rang De’ which was released in 2021. Now, he is banking on ‘Robinhood’ which is a heist comedy. Director Venky Kudumula earlier worked with Nithiin for ‘Bheeshma’ and it was a successful project. Now, he is joining hands for ‘Robinhood’ and Sreeleela is playing the female lead.
The film was completed long back and now the makers want to cash in on it during summer vacation. So, they announced the release date as March 28, but at the same time, the IPL cricket matches start and it is definitely a testing time for Nithiin. They already started the promotions by releasing a song. Now they are planning to release the second song featuring Ketika Sharma. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
