In a gesture of empathy towards the families of deceased government employees, the Finance Department has taken a compassionate step by upgrading 1,266 office subordinate posts in various departments.
These compassionate appointments aim to support the families who have lost their loved ones while serving the government.
The government order was released by Finance Secretary Rama Krishna Rao.
Responding to a total of 1,266 applications received from across the state, the government decided to upgrade the existing office subordinate posts to junior assistant posts under supernumerary.
This will enable the appointment of deserving candidates, easing their financial burden during these difficult times.
The Finance Department issued the order on Thursday, ensuring that the upgraded positions are filled in a district-wise manner.
District Collectors have been entrusted with the responsibility to conduct the selection process and fill these upgraded posts.
This compassionate move reaffirms the government’s commitment to standing by the families of its dedicated employees and offering them support in their times of need.
