Five-day cricket test match Steps to avoid inconvenience to spectators

Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Sudhir Babu, DCP Malkajgiri Padmaja and representatives of Hyderabad Cricket Association held a review meeting on Wednesday regarding the security arrangements for the five-day test cricket match to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, between January 25 and 29.
CP Sudhir Babu said that organising cricket matches in Uppal Stadium is very prestigious and it is a great opportunity to organise them in Rachakonda Commissionerate limits. He advised the officials to make appropriate security arrangements.
The officials have been advised to make arrangements to avoid any inconvenience to the spectators and to be alert as there is a possibility of a huge crowd. They have been directed to take all necessary security precautions to prevent any untoward incidents from taking place during the test match.
Additionally, the officials were advised to coordinate with the representatives of the Hyderabad Cricket Association to ensure that the distribution of tickets was done properly. The HCA officials were directed to take steps to ensure that the prices of cool drinks and other food items are within the norms. It was suggested to install CCTVs in the vicinity of the stadium. Necessary parking arrangements would be in place to avoid any inconvenience to the viewers.
The officials were directed to instruct the organisers to take due precautions in issuing passes. The CP said that strict action will be taken against those who sell fake tickets and the distribution of tickets will be done in full transparency.
