Water levels in the Godavari River in the district swelled due to heavy rainfall due to heavy rainfall in the catchment areas. They demanded that the officials take measures to prevent floodwaters from entering the villages. The villagers demanded that the government would find a permanent solution to the recurrent problem of floods in the village every year.
