The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has intensified its investigation into the alleged irregularities that occurred while organising the Formula E-Race.
The ACB has recorded the statements of Dana Kishore and the Chief Secretary of the Municipal Administration Department who had filed a complaint in the matter.
Based on the complaint, the ACB is preparing to issue notices to BRS Working President KTR who is a former Municipal Administration Minister. Notices are also likely to be sent to Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar and former HMDA Chief Engineer BLN Reddy.
Dana Kishore’s complaint, filed on October 18, says that funds were paid to a foreign company against the established rules for organising the Formula E-Race. The complaint says that this caused a loss of Rs 54.88 crore to the government.
The ACB has registered a case naming KTR as the prime accused (A1) in the FIR. Arvind Kumar and BLN Reddy have been listed as A2 and A3, respectively in the case.
The complaint highlights the procedural violations and financial discrepancies that occurred while organising the event during the BRS rule in the state.
