Congress leader and former MLA Kichennagari Lakshma Reddy (KLR) emphasised the commitment to transform Maheshwaram constituency into a thriving metropolis. During a meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence on New Year’s Day, KLR conveyed his greetings and discussed key developmental initiatives for the region.
In their discussions, Revanth Reddy and KLR reportedly addressed the acceleration of major projects, including Fourth City, Green Pharma, Skeel University, health and education hubs, industrial parks, and metro rail infrastructure. The Chief Minister urged KLR to ensure smooth land acquisition for critical projects such as the 330-feet road and connections between the ORR and RRR, emphasising minimal disruption to stakeholders.
Revanth Reddy highlighted that top global companies are eager to establish themselves in Fourth City. He commended KLR’s efforts in persuading farmers from Jennaiguda and Kandukuru mandals to agree to land acquisition by offering compensation, plots, and solar energy initiatives for women, ensuring no losses to farmers.
Discussions also covered plans to designate Maheshwaram and Kandukuru mandals as municipalities, aligning with the region’s rapid development. Revanth Reddy lauded KLR for his relentless work in advancing Maheshwaram constituency and urged him to oversee the progress of Fourth City, including the establishment of Skeel University.
Senior Congress leaders, including Deepa Bhaskar Reddy, participated in the meeting, showcasing the party’s collective focus on development.
