Fourth City is ‘Congress conspiracy’ to grab land: Sanjay

The Fourth City idea is a conspiracy of the Congress to collect and loot thousands of acres, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said.
Bandi Sanjay demanded that the Congress government should release a white paper on land alienation through the Dharani Portal. The Congress government should reveal what the Dharani Committee has found and why no action is being taken against the KCR family which grabbed lands, he said.
Speaking to the media after taking part in Bonalu celebrations at Gurramguda on Sunday, Sanjay said that land ‘Danda’ is going on in a big way behind the move for the Fourth City by the Congress government.
The Union Minister said that Congress leaders have collected thousands of acres in Maheshwaram in advance and are getting ready to seize valuable real estate costing several crores.
Sanjay said that a scam involving Rs 2 lakh crore was engineered in the name of the Dharani Portal by the BRS government.
Calling it the biggest scam in the country, Sanjay said that Congress leaders are also getting ready to grab assets worth thousands of crores following the path shown by the BRS.

Sanjay said the Fourth City will not bring any benefits to the public except Congress leaders. The local Congress leader in Maheshwaram has been given the responsibility to take over lands, he said.
Sanjay said the Congress government which is changing the name of the Dharani Portal to Bhumata, is preparing to use Bhumata for grabbing lands. During BRS rule, the biggest scam in the country took place using the Dharani Portal.
When Telangana state was formed in 2014, there were 24 lakh assigned lands. How come those lands have declined to just five lakh now, he asked.
The Union Minister said that BRS leaders grabbed assigned lands, Shikam lands, endowment, forest and Bhoodan lands along with land belonging to the poor using the Dharani Portal. What are the details regarding land registrations? The Congress government is not releasing them, he pointed out.
Sanjay said the value of those lands is almost Rs 2 lakh crore. “Why are Congress leaders who said before the Assembly election that the KCR family had used Dharani to grab lands on a large scale not conducting an inquiry into the matter? What was the report of the 5-member committee on Dharani which was appointed after the Congress came to power? Why are the culprits who grabbed lands using Dharani not brought to justice? It seems that a secret report has been given on the subject,” he said. Sanjay said that is why Congress leaders are planning to grab lands using the Fourth City and Bhumata.
Looking at the behaviour of Congress leaders, it does not appear that even a yard of land will be left in future. The government should release a white paper on alienation of Dharani lands if it has any sincerity, he said.
