A young woman died after having a tubectomy family planning operation and the relatives organized a darna with the body in front of the government hospital in Dachepalli town.
Police said that Kelavath Nandini Bhai (23), belonging to Burripalem village in Dachepalli mandal in Palanadu district, underwent tubectomy operation for family planning in Dachepalli government hospital.
After the operation, the doctors discharged her from hospital and she went to her native village. She developed dizziness after reaching home. When her relatives were taking her to a private hospital in an ambulance in Piduguralla town she died on the way.
Holding Dachepalli government hospital doctors responsible for her death, the relatives of deceased Nandini Bhai took the body to the government hospital in Dachepalli and placed it in front of the hospital and staged a dharna. They alleged that due to government hospital doctors’ negligence she died. The deceased woman was survived by two children and husband.
The police registered a case and investigated.
