A free diabetes screening camp will be organised at Kamineni Hospitals in LB Nagar Hyderabad on Monday on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. The screening package which generally costs around Rs 2,500 will be given for free to the people on Monday.
The package includes RBS, ECG, Urea, Serum Creatinine and doctor’s consultation. The hospital will also provide a 30 per cent discount to those who are advised to take consultation with a Cadiologist and Nephrologist. The free camp will be conducted on Monday between 10 am and 4 pm.
Gayathri Kamineni, COO, Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad, said, “Diabetes is a chronic illness that can cause blindness, heart and kidney diseases among other serious complications. To improve diabetes management, prevent complications and enhance the quality of life, it is imperative to raise the awareness levels of access to diabetes care. On the basis of that, we are offering a free screening camp.”
