Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy decided to foot the bill for lunch to students preparing for competitive examinations
Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy has decided to arrange free lunch to students preparing for competitive examinations in the town. The Minister will foot the bill for serving lunch to the students visiting the Zilla Grandalyam (library) to prepare for competitive examinations.
Jagadish Reddy visited the library on Tuesday and interacted with the candidates studying systematically. It has been providing a congenial environment for uninterrupted students. He told the students that he used to visit the library regularly between 1980 and 1985 to gain knowledge.
Jagadish Reddy exhorted the youth to pursue studies systematically and strive for success. He assured the students that he would ensure that a modern library is established. The Minister revealed that a building equipped with all facilities would be built to house a modern library.
He also stressed the need for the empowerment of women. He said that orientation classes would be organised for women.
