In a major crackdown connected to the Kaleshwaram Project, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday raided the residence of Bhookya Hari Ram, the Engineer-in-Chief (ENC) who hails from Gajwel, and 14 other locations linked to him and his relatives.

Hari Ram, who played a key role in the execution of the Kaleshwaram Project, was under investigation after some serious findings were pointed out in the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) report submitted to the Telangana Government just two days ago.

The NDSA report is said to have raised several critical points regarding Hari Ram’s involvement in the project and highlighted allegations of large-scale corruption.

The ACB searches unearthed a staggering amount of assets like villas at Shaikpet and Kondapur, flats in Srinagar, Madhapur, and Narsingi, commercial space in Amaravathi, 28 acres of agricultural land at Markook mandal, 20 guntas of land in Patancheru, two independent houses at Srinagar Colony, a six-acre farmhouse with a mango garden at Bommalr
