Michaela Küchler, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in India, called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Wednesday.
Küchler informed the Chief Minister that she was ready to work with the State Government in areas of manufacturing and industrial development, technology transfer, renewable energy and sustainability, sustainable practices, automotive and engineering, research and development, IT and digitalisation, start-up ecosystem, education and research, skill enhancement programmes and trade and investment promotion.
During discussions on investment opportunities in the State, he informed her that trained and skilled manpower and basic infrastructure facilities were available aplenty in the State and the government was ready to extend all possible cooperation to the investing industrialists.
Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Punam Malakondaiah and senior officials of the Germany Embassy in India were also present.
