Kakinada MP and Pithapuram YSRCP candidate Vanga Geetha has claimed that she is getting overwhelming support from the people and exuded confidence of winning election from Pithapuram constituency.
Talking to the media in Pithapuram on Wednesday, she said that she is going ahead coordinating the ZPTCs, MPTCs and other leaders in the constituency.
Referring to the Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan’ comments, inviting her to join the Jana Sena party, MP Vanga Geetha said: “How it would be, if I asked Pawan Kalyan to join the YSRCP.”
It may be mentioned here that Pawan Kalyan while addressing the party cadres said that Vanga Geetha successfully contested the Assembly on Chiranjeevi led Praja Rajyam party ticket in 2009 and he invited her to join the JSP now.
The YSRCP MP said that she had been in politics since before 2009 and Chiranjeevi gave her an opportunity to contest from Pithapuram. She said that the YSRCP leaders had already met the people during the Gadapa Gadapaku programme.
“I will be accessible to the people of the constituency. I have been campaigning in the constituency for the last two months and getting overwhelming support from the people. I am confident of winning the election,” she made it clear.
Meanwhile Jana Sena leader and Pithapuram constituency former in-charge M Seshukumari joined the YSRCP on Wednesday in the presence of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the camp office in Tadepalli. He admitted her by wrapping a scarf. MP Vanga Geetha also present on the occasion. Seshukumari joining the YSRCP has bolstered the winning chances of Vanga Geetha further, a YSRCP leader claimed.
