Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) organised Special Summer Coaching Camps at 915 places in 353 sports grounds across the city. These summer camps are hosted every year to promote modern and traditional sports and enhance the skills of sportspersons. These special summer training camps are very useful for students.
In this background, there was a special response to the sport of long tennis. Students are participating in large numbers and enjoying the long tennis game. Boys and girls from the age of six to 16 years participated in various sports and games competitions and continue the sportive spirit by inculcating discipline. Students are participating in Chandanagar PJR Stadium, KPHB Colony, Kookat Palli, Vasantha Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Secunderabad East, Marredpally, Teachers Colony tennis courts.
Inter SSC Centres Tournaments were organised at Uppal GHMC playground in LB Nagar Zone on Thursday as part of the summer coaching camp. Cricket, Carroms, Shuttle Badminton and Volleyball competitions were held in this tournament.
