Girls’ hostel building inaugurated

Nuka Srinivasulu, Director (Finance), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), inaugurated the Social Welfare Girls Hostel building in Vizianagaram district on Friday. The building, which can accommodate about 200 girl students, has been constructed by BDL as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

The inaugural function was presided over by Deputy Speaker K Veerabhadra Swamy, in the presence of MP Bellana Chandra Sekhar and several dignitaries from the government of Andhra Pradesh and senior officials from BDL.

BDL has allocated an amount of Rs 200 lakh for the infrastructural development in Vizianagaram district. The building inaugurated on Friday is part of such activities taken up by the company. It is also constructing additional rooms, kitchen sheds etc. in social welfare hostels, which are catering to the needs of students from the weaker sections.
