The Andhra Pradesh SSC Public Examination results were announced on Wednesday, revealing a commendable overall pass percentage of 81.14 per cent. Girls continued their consistent performance by surpassing boys once again, recording a pass rate of 84.09 per cent compared to 78.31 per cent among boys, a notable 5.78 per cent lead.

HRD Minister Nara Lokesh announced the results via the social media platform ‘X’, congratulating the successful students and encouraging those who did not pass to utilise the upcoming supplementary exams scheduled from May 19-28.

This year, a total of 6,14,459 students appeared for the SSC exams held in March, of which 4,98,585 students cleared the exams. Parvathipuram Manyam district secured the highest pass percentage at 93.90 per cent, while Alluri Sitharama Raju district reported the lowest with 47.64 per cent.

A total of 1,680 schools registered a 100 per cent pass rate, while 19 schools reported zero pass percentage. Andhra Pradesh Residential Schools led institutional performance with a stellar 95.02 per cent pass rate. Among the passed candidates, 65.36 per cent secured first division, 10.69 per cent second division, and 5.09 per cent third division.

The State’s pass percentage has seen a fluctuating trend in recent years: 100 per cent in 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic-related mass promotions, dropping to 67.26 per cent in 2022 and steadily improving since.

Of the 11,819 schools that presented candidates this year, standout performances include Yalla Nehanjani from Bhashyam School, Kakinada, who scored a perfect 600/600, followed by Enda Anisha from Sri Chaitanya School, Elamanchili, with 599, and Pavani Chandrika from ZP High School, Oppicharla, Palnadu district, with 598.
Applications for recounting and re-verification can be submitted online from April 24 to May 1. Digitally signed migration certificates will be made available to headmasters within four days, with original SSC certificates to be dispatched shortly.
