Vishnu Educational Society K V Vishnu Raju on Friday complimented the BVRIT College for constructing a go-karting track. Vishnu Raju inaugurated the track at the BVRIT college, near Narsapur.
Speaking on the occasion, the Society Chairman said that the track would help the engineers of civil, chemical engineering, electronic and other streams. There was tremendous growth of automobile sector in the country. The go-kart vehicles designed by students can be tested on the track in the college, he observed. This would help engineering students secure jobs in the automobile industry.
The track has spread over two-and-half acres. The track would help students from the college participate in competitions being organised by automobile engineers every year. College vice-chairman Ravindran Rajgopal, principal Lakshmi Prasad, HoD Murali Krishna, manager Bapiraju and others were present.
