Gold medals for 4 AIIMS students

Must read

Four MBBS students from the first graduating batch of AIIMS Mangalagiri were presented with gold medals. A total of 49 students received their MBBS degrees, with Liya Aji, Dasari Divyamsu, Suprabha Sinha, and Athira VK being honoured with gold medals by the President of India.
The traditional attire worn by the faculty and students captured the attention of the gathering. The entire AIIMS faculty, including Director Madabanand Kar, and all the students chose traditional Indian attire, symbolising national pride and reflecting the country’s cultural heritage. These garments, with their elegant draping, exuded grace and dignity.
The AIIMS media team mentioned that Mangalagiri cotton and silk fabrics were selected to showcase the region’s rich textile heritage. The ancient art of Kalamkari, which involves hand drawing or block printing with natural dyes, was also featured, as it originated in the state.
The colour palette of the ensembles, along with the Kalamkari design in green, was chosen to reflect the colours and elements of the institution’s logo. The yellow and green tones, complemented by earthy hues, created a striking contrast against the vibrant red of the auditorium.
