Good response to payment of pending challans at discount

The discount for the pending challans has seen a good response from the people. According to the sources in the Transport department, so far, 9.61 lakh challans have been paid across the State, amounting to Rs 8.44 crore revenue. Among them, Rs. 2.62 crore through 3.54 lakh challans in Hyderabad area, Rs 1.80 crore through payment of 1.82 lakh challans under Cyberabad commissionerate. Rs 76.79 lakh for 93,000 challans in Rachakonda Commissionerate was generated.
Due to many users trying to pay the bills, the site was geting hung. Police advised that commuters with pending vehicle challans can clear them in E-challan traffic website from December 26 to January 10, 2024.
To clear the challan, go to https://echallan.tspolice.gov.in/publicview/ . Enter vehicle details and all the pending challans will be displayed there. Then, click on pay and it will be redirected to the payment portal where one has to pay only the discounted amount. The sum total of pending traffic challans will be displayed on the site.
