Gottipati highlights AP’s investor-friendly climate

Minister for Energy Gottipati Ravi Kumar inaugurated a private granite factory at Murikipudi in Chilakaluripet mandal on Monday, highlighting the Prakasam district’s reputation for exporting high-quality granite to various countries.
Speaking at the event, the Minister said that Andhra Pradesh is an ideal destination for industrial investment, catering to small, medium, and large enterprises. He noted that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is actively promoting industrial growth across all sectors by offering incentives and subsidies to investors. “The coalition government is committed to supporting those who step forward to invest in the State,” he said, adding that AP now ranks second among Indian states in terms of growth rate, owing to the CM’s initiatives aimed at boosting investor confidence.
Taking a swipe at former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Minister alleged that during the previous regime, businessmen were burdened with unofficial payments. In contrast, he said, the present government is fostering an environment of free trade and ease of doing business.
