Govt committed to fill 2lakh jobs: Revanth

Must read

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that two lakh vacancies in government service would be filled by December 2024.
“We are committed to our promise given to the unemployed,” he said addressing a function organised to present appointment letters to staff nurses at the LB stadium here.
“Soon after assuming office, Cabinet members met the UPSC Chairman seeking suggestions as the government had vowed to “cleanse” the TSPSC after the leaking of question papers of TSPSC recruitment tests during BRS rule.
A new chairman and members have now been appointed to the TSPSC. The government is trying to fill 15,000 posts in the police soon,” the Chief Minister added.
Appointment letters were given to 6,956 women who were recruited as staff nurses by the government. The CM criticised the BRS government for “failing” to deliver on the promise to give jobs.
“This is only the first step in keeping the promise to create two lakh jobs a year.

My statement that the youth of Telangana will get jobs only if the jobs of ‘some’ others are
destroyed is coming true,” he added.
Slamming former Health Minister T. Harish Rao for calling the appointments of staff nurses “a political distraction amid the unmet promises of the Congress government,” Revanth said that the BRS leader is opposing recruitments and “KCR should instil some sense in his nephew.”
He attacked the BRS supremo for giving an MLC seat to his daughter K. Kavitha who lost in Nizamabad in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Health Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha, R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Forest Minister Konda Surekha and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao also attended the function.
