‘Govt committed to promoting medical edn, health sector’

Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Sunday asserted that the Congress government is committed to promoting medial education and health sector. The government also formulated  a plan for the development of villages.  He elaborated that works related to development of cement concrete roads and drainages would be taken and completed at a brisk pace.
He inaugurated a health sub-centre building built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh in Guvvalagudem village ubder Nelakondapall  mandal of the district on Saturday.,
Earlier, the Minister laid the foundation stone for development of cement concrete roads at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. He distributed Chief Minister Relief Fund cheques worth Rs 36,35,000 to 140 beneficiaries of Nelakondapalli village.
Within one month of Congress coming to power in Telangana, it increased the health insurance cover under Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Scheme to Rs 10 lakh. He asked the health sub-centres to provide better treatment facilities to patients.
 Under the crop loan waiver scheme, the government waived loans up to Rs 31,000 crore in a gap of just one month. The state government is committed to solve the problems related to Dharani portal.  The problems related to the Dharani portal would be solved within one or one-and-half month.
He announced that 3,500 Indiramma Houses would be built in Palair cosntituency. The government would build 4.50 lakh hosues at a cost of Rs 2,2000 crore.  Similarly, house sites would be distributed among the homeless poor.
Within a month of submitting applications, CMRF cheques would be distributed to beneficiaries, he said.  The government works to see smile on the faces of women and farmers. Later, he planted saplings at the health sub-centre premises. Later, the minister laid the foundation stone for development of CC Roads in Chennaram village at a cost of Rs 10 lakh.
At his camp office in Kusumanchimandal, he distributed CMRF cheques worth Rs 46.20 lakh benefiting 161.
Telangana Government Warehousing Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao, state irrigation development corporation chairman Muvva Vijay Babu, DMHO Dr B Malati, R and B SE Hemalata, Khammam RDO G Ganesh, elected people’s representatives and others took part in the event.
