Govt committed to welfare schemes, says Minister

Minister for Civil Supplies Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao has reiterated that the government is committed to providing welfare schemes to all eligible and the government has intended for the progress of the State.

The minister participated in the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabutwam’ programme in Tanuku on Thursday. He interacted with the people and enquired whether they were getting the benefits of welfare schemes. He explained to them the welfare schemes being implemented by the government.

All eligible people irrespective of political affiliations could get the benefits of welfare schemes, the minister made it clear. He gave a booklet with the signature of the Chief Minister to the beneficiaries of welfare schemes. Some of the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the implementation of welfare schemes.

However, some people took their grievances to the notice of the minister who assured them of taking steps to resolve them.
