‘Govt focused on all-round progress’ CM inaugurates developmental works worth Rs. 192 crore in Medak

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the Yedupayala Vanadurga Bhavani Temple at Nagasanpally in Papannapet Mandal in Medak district on Wednesday and laid the foundation stone for development projects costing Rs 192 crore.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the Congress Government’s vision of inclusive development and support for marginalised communities. He said the projects would improve road connectivity, educational opportunities, and women’s empowerment.
During his visit, Revanth emphasised the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure in the region.
Accompanied by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Konda Surekha, Damodar Rajanarasimha, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, as well as MP Raghunandan Rao and several MLAs, the Chief Minister inaugurated many
projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life.
The projects inaugurated are:
l Roads: Construction of roads connecting tribal villages in Medak at a cost of Rs 52.76 crore.
l Educational facilities: Foundation stone laid for the Young India Integrated Residential School Complex.
l Women Empowerment: Rs 5 crore for the construction of Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan.
l SHG support: Distribution of Rs 100 crore bank linkage cheque for Medak district Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
l Tourism and connectivity: Expansion of roads, construction of dividers and installation of high-mast lights near the Yedupayala Temple, costing Rs 35 crore in total.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of local leaders, officials and residents, who hailed the government’s attempts to transform Medak into a model district.
