The TG government is ready for talks with TGSRTC employees, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said.
He inspected the Husnabad TGSRTC Bus Stand on Sunday and asked passengers about the problems they face in TGSRTC buses. Later, he inquired about the problems of TGSRTC drivers and conductors.
Later, addressing the media, Ponnam said the problems of the drivers and conductors are being examined by the government and that steps will be taken to solve them.
“The government is ready to solve the problems of TGSRTC employees. You may know that the Chief Minister said that TGSRTC employees can meet me at any time. I am ready to discuss with the employees if they come to me on May 5 or 6 as per the CM’s directions. The TGSRTC functions for the welfare of its employees and the public,” he said.
He said the TGSRTC had weakened in the last 10 years and that it is improving now. The government is trying to clear old debts, the Minister said.
