PNS | Suryapet
The State government on Friday released Rs 30 crore to Suryapet Municipality for developmental works. The municipality has been carrying out developmental works worth Rs 1,390 crore. Now, the State government released Rs 30 crore more to the municipality.
Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy, who is the local MLA, put his stamp on developmental activities in the town. The officials proposed to take up developmental activities like building drains, culverts, bridges and parks.
The Suryapet Municipality for the first secured such large-scale funds for developmental activities.
Municipal Chairperson PerumandlaAnnapurnamma expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister and Jagadish Reddy for extending their help for the development of the town.
