Govt unveils infrastructureprojects in tribal villages

Tribal and Women and Child Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhyarani has announced plans to connect every tribal village with a robust road network, significantly reducing the communities’ reliance on traditional transport methods. Sandhyarani’s visit to Paderu mandal also included the launch of a programme to distribute free gas connections in the Bangaru Metta village.
“We have allocated Rs. 46 crore for the development of the Sileru road,” Sandhyarani stated, emphasising the government’s commitment to infrastructure improvement. “I promise to return soon to commence this vital project.” In alignment with these efforts, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has pledged to construct roads in 1,300 villages over the next two years, investing an impressive Rs. 1,800 crore. Highlighting the significance of the Deepam Scheme 2.0, which aims to provide three free gas cylinders to eligible beneficiaries, Sandhyarani added, “We are providing these gas connections as a Diwali gift to the poor, ensuring no family struggles with cooking fuel.
