Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah has made it clear that 25 more BRS legislators will join the Congress party soon. So, BRSLP will merge in the Congress, he said.
Responding to BRS working president KT Ramarao’s remarks in the context of engineered defections, he countered: “Is it ‘samsaram’ if done by BRS and prostitution if done by others?”
He was speaking to media persons at CLP Media Hall on Tuesday.
Beerla Ilaiah maintained that BRS MLAs were joining Congress since they liked Revanth Reddy’s rule. The Government Whip said that BRS leaders were speaking in Delhi as they had no face to speak in Telangana. The BRS leaders had no moral ground to speak against the Congress party. Beerla Ilaiah said that KTR and Harish Rao went to Delhi seeking to merge BRS party with BJP.
