Govt Whip, Collector inspect laddu making unit

Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas, along with District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, inspected the Laddu manufacturing unit at Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple on Wednesday.
After the Mahashivaratri Jatara coordination meeting, the Whip, Collector, and other officials including the District Superintendent of Police visited the temple and offered prayers.
On this occasion, the temple’s Executive Officer Vinod Reddy, honoured the MLA and the Collector with shawls and presented them with the prasadam, while the priests blessed them.
Subsequently, the Whip and Collector, along with others, inspected the Laddu manufacturing unit. They checked the store room, the ingredients used in making the laddus, the ghee, the manufacturing process, and the surrounding cleanliness. They inquired about the daily use of ghee, the number of laddus prepared daily, and the number of staff involved. They suggested modernising the Laddu manufacturing unit fully and ensuring that prasadam is available in proportion to the number of devotees. They also emphasised the need for special attention to quality and cleanliness.
