Group 1, 2, 3, 4 posts should be increased: R Krishnaiah

Must read

R Krishnaiah, Member of Parliament and President of National BC Welfare Association demanded to increase the Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 posts and provide two lakhs jobs to the BCs. Hundreds of unemployed people rallied from Osmania University to Vidyanagar BC Bhavan on Friday.
Krishnaiah said, “According to the promise given by the Congress party in the election, the group posts should be increased. About 503 posts have been announced under Group-1 Service. But if the direct recruitment of new posts are calculated correctly, out of 1,600, 783 posts are being filled under Group-2 service. If these are also calculated correctly, out of 2,200, Group III posts are 1,383, which are actually more than 3,000 and 8,500 posts have been announced under Group-4 service quota. These are more than 25,000 thousand. He said 11,000 teacher posts were announced. According to the PRC report, 24,700 teacher posts are vacant. Therefore, 24,700 teacher posts needed to be filled.”
He also said that merit candidates will be selected for all these posts as Group 1-2-3-4 and Teacher, Lecturer, Professor posts are being filled at one time. If all types of 6-7 category posts are selected at once then the candidate will be selected for the same posts. Remaining 5-6 types of posts will remain. According to the current system, other candidates will not get it, because there is no waiting list system. There is no option. That’s why the option method and waiting list time limit needs to be introduced to fill the posts so that everyone will get a chance.
Moreover, government school posts, SC / ST / BC / Minority teacher school posts and Adarsh school posts are also held separately. So merit candidates will be selected in these three and four types of schools with merit. They will join in a single ownership school. The other three selected are wasted. That’s why he suggested to the government to take steps like putting option methods, waiting lists and announcing all the results at once.
Bringing the new generation – the youth – into the government machinery through direct recruitment will lead to efficient and corruption-free governance. Youth power-strategies can be used for community development. If the youth are brought into the governance sector, they will work honestly with enthusiasm and dedication. It is a great thing that the Chief Minister issued orders to fill 2 lakh jobs at once, he said.
