Gutha denies differences with Jagadish Reddy

Telangana State Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy on Saturday denied any difference with Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy.
He made it clear that he would never interfere with the functioning of the district officials.

Speaking to the media at his camp office here, Sukender Reddy said that he would ask the official to act by provisions of law.

As for his son, Amith Reddy, contesting on behalf of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Sukender Reddy said that the party’s decision in this regard was final. If the BRS gave him an opportunity, he would contest. “To win or to lose in elections is a part of democracy,” he pointed out.

He regretted that some leaders were lashing out at their opponents without rhyme or reason. He joined the issue with Congress Lok Sabha member Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was using offensive language against his opponents.

“I always keep a civil tongue,” he said and added that he would not stir up the hornet’s nest.

On the change of candidates, Sukender Reddy said some clarity would emerge only after seat adjustment with the Left parties is finalised. The Left parties are ready to have an alliance with the BRS.

He accused the Centre of procrastinating in finding a solution to sharing of Krishna river water between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
