Hail end-to-end encryption tech

End-to-end encryption technology in phone calls made over WhatsApp and VoIP channels has come in handy for bureaucrats in Telangana, who are these days paranoid about their phones being tapped to let snoopers know their leanings in the wake of the regime change. Until the change of guard, top bureaucrats used to freely use their cell phones for making normal calls to speak with their colleagues and others. Things have come to such a pass that some of the former ministers in the BRS government use only WhatsApp to speak with others and their former colleagues. A former senior minister in fact has stopped taking normal calls. “Only WhatsApp calls” is his mantra, though not yet a ringtone.
