Hansika Motwani is set to stun audiences with her dual-role performance in the upcoming horror-thriller Sri Gandhari. Directed and produced by R Kannan under the Masala Pix banner, the film reunites Hansika with the filmmaker after their successful collaboration on the 2013 comedy Settai.
The movie will be brought to Telugu audiences by Raju Nayak of Lachhuram Productions, in association with Saraswati Developers and presented by Vikram Kumar Rejintala. Scheduled for a December release, Sri Gandhari has already generated excitement with its trailer and promotional material, receiving a fantastic response.
In the film, Hansika portrays a young officer leading a Hindu Trust Committee, embarking on a fascinating mission to unravel the mysteries of the ancient ‘Gandharva Kota’ monument. The fort, steeped in history and secrets, serves as the backdrop for a gripping tale of suspense, horror and intrigue.
The ensemble cast includes Metro Sirish, Mayilsamy, Thalaivasal Vijay, Aadukalam Naren, Stunt Silva, Vinodhini, Pavan, Brigida Saga, Vadivel Murugan and Kalairani. With a story by Tholkappiyan and a screenplay by Dhananjayan, the film promises a compelling narrative.
The technical team features Balasubramanian as the cinematographer, LV Ganesh Muthu as the music composer, Jijinthra as the editor and Silva as the stunt director, ensuring a visually and emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
