Actor Yash Puri, who is coming up with the upcoming film Happy Ending, speaks to the Hyderabadi scribes here sharing some interesting insights about the film.
Happy Ending is Yash Puri’s next film. He gained recognition for his roles in ZEE5’s web film Alanti Sitralu, the comedy Cheppalani Undhi, and the newly released epic drama Shaakuntalam. With its intriguing promotional material, Kowshik Bheemidi’s lighthearted coming-of-age story is creating a lot of attention. The movie is being financed by Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy, and Anil Pallala under the banners of Silly Monks Studios and Hamstech Films.
Yash Puri engaged with the press here on Wednesday. The interview offers insights into the plot, genre, and distinctive aspects of Happy Ending, highlighting Yash Puri’s excitement and self-assurance in the movie’s triumph. Examining  the idea of mythological curses, the movie shows how they might affect a young man in the present day. The goal of the movie is to show off the protagonist’s interesting attempts to break the curse. The film keeps a fun and humorous tone despite the obstacles the character faces. The entire movie is focused on enjoyment and amusement; not a single minute is meant to convey a message. A fresh perspective on the characters played by Jhansi and Ajay Ghosh will be provided.
The movie also includes noteworthy contributions from the editing, soundtrack, and cinematography departments. Yash Puri promises an emotional and psychological push in the final fifteen minutes of the film, urging viewers not to miss it! Because it offers a fusion of new and old aspects to appeal to modern viewers while integrating a notion from three millennia ago into a contemporary environment.
Yash Puri highlights, “The movie has kid-friendly content that is relevant to the curse’s theme but excludes adult stuff, thereby qualifying it for a U/A certificate. With its appeal to both adults and children, I think watching the film with friends will be a fun experience. The purpose of the movie’s Valentine’s Day week premiere is to honor various kinds of love.” Harsha, the protagonist’s character, represents the difficulties of a young guy who, because of a curse, suppresses his emotions. “Even though the curse is a major plot device, the human feeling portrayed in the story is what really drives the movie. The narrative gains depth when the protagonist chooses to communicate his love through poetry instead of physical means.”
Yash Puri is optimistic about the movie’s box office performance, citing the audience’s emotional response as the narrative’s true power. He feels, “The movie combines humor, melodies, and a compelling plot with a deep emotional core. I am confident in the film’s success because of the great reaction I have received from viewers.” Looking back on the making of the movie, Yash Puri says, “Making a demo was a big part of persuading the producers. The majority of the cast and crew in the film are new, and I thank the producer Anil for believing in this youthful group and being happy with the outcome.”  Yash Puri talks about how excited he is about the movie and drops a clue about a new project that will be revealed shortly.
Yash Puri ends by saying that although being a commercial hero is his dream, he understands that building his own brand is more important than pursuing purely commercial methods. He makes references to future endeavors and shows a route for accomplishing his objectives.
