Harish asks CM to declare ‘war’ on CBN for Krishna waters

The BRS’s Siddipet MLA, T. Harish Rao, said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should declare ‘war’ if he can on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over the Krishna water issue and protect Telangana’s interests.
Reacting to the comments of the CM at Wanaparthy on Sunday, Harish said, “Wherever Chief Minister Revanth goes, he tells the same old stories. Apart from cursing KCR, the CM does not say anything useful for the people,” Harish said.
He said that Revanth is unable to speak about his party’s guarantees and his promise that he would implement them in 100 days.
“But the CM is talking about big things like Musi cleansing. The CM has not done anything for Palamuru except repeatedly calling himself a child of Palamuru and reciting dry sentiments. The children of Palamuru are workers who toil hard, but Revanth talks more and works less,” Harish said.
He said Revanth and the Congress have no moral right to talk about projects or projects on the Krishna basin. “Whose fault is it that Telangana, which has 68 per cent of the Krishna catchment area, has been going without Krishna water for 60 years,” Harish asked. “Aren’t the crooks who turned Palamuru district which has gold-bearing black soil into a distress migration district your Congress Chief Ministers,” he asked.
“The Congress created a terrible situation for 60 years by subjecting Telangana to droughts. Revanth, who used to insult Chandrababu while the Telangana Movement was going on, now wants to talk about Krishna districts without offending CBN,” he pointed out.
“If you are honest, hold an inquiry into the SLBC tunnel accident by a sitting judge. Find out who the culprits are. Stop spreading lies and crazy sentiments. If you are lazy, things will not work, but if you work hard, things will work.
It is unfortunate for Telangana that you have not been enlightened even after 15 months. It is not because you do not know the facts, but because you are trying to mislead people. Why are you hiding the fact that the BRS admin spent Rs 3,900 crore from 2014 to 2023 to dig 11.48 km of the SLBC tunnel? Was the work on the 11.48 km of tunnel done without spending money? Not a single Rupee was spent on the Dindi Project during your tenure. That is the truth. The work on projects did not stop during KCR’s tenure. That is why Revanth did not say anything then. The people clearly understood that KCR means green crops and Revanth means lies,” Harish said.
