The former minister appealed to people not to fall prey to false propaganda
Former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader T Harish Rao on Monday cautioned opponents against unleashing a malicious campaign to tarnish the image of party candidates, including Medak Lok Sabha nominee P Venkatrami Reddy.
Harish Rao told the media that the BRS had already filed a complaint at Patanacheru police station about a fake video being circulated to defame Venkatrami Reddy. BJP candidate M Raghunandan Rao had a history of carrying out such false propaganda to confuse voters. He alleged that Raghunandan Rao had resorted to such tactics ahead of the Dubbak by-election in 2020.
Harish Rao accused the Congress government of coming to power by making fake promises. After coming to power, the Congress government failed to deliver on the majority of promises it made to the people ahead of Assembly elections.  He regretted that the Congress leaders were using abusive language against former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao. KCR developed the Medak district. He exhorted the people to teach a bitter lesson to those who were bent upon using invectives against KCR. “Insulting KCR means insulting Medak district,” he pointed out.
He gave a call to people to teach a lesson to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the BJP by defeating their candidates in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Chief Minister did not spell out what the Congress government achieved during the last five months after the party assumed power. He appealed to people to vote for BRS to protect the interests of the State.
