Has Rajamouli started shooting Mahesh’s film?

This is the question doing rounds everywhere around Film Nagar. Generally, Rajamouli will hold a media conference before going to his film shoot and explain about his film. He did this for all his films till now. But when it comes to his upcoming film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, he is tight-lipped. He launched the film with utmost secrecy, without a picture coming out from it. Though some of the unit people attended the launch along with the lead actor, director and producer’s families, not a single glimpse from it has come out. He has taken utmost care about it and even now, he is shooting the film with utmost secrecy, said a source.
Unofficially, a unit source confirmed that Priyanka Chopra is the leading lady in his film opposite Mahesh, and the actress is in town recently. She visited Chilkur Balaji temple and shared the pictures in her social media. But she didn’t put any word about Rajamouli’s film or Mahesh Babu in her post. She said there is a ‘new chapter’ in her life, but she didn’t mention what is new. She thanked Upasana Kamineni Konidela in her post. Maybe, her new chapter means that she is working in a Telugu film, some people assume.
It seems, Rajamouli started the shooting first with the lead pair and then went abroad for further shooting of his film. “Maybe, he is taking some workshops with the lead pair which he usually does. So, she landed in the city for it,” said another source.
As he announced earlier, this film is an adventurous one like ‘Indiana Jones’. So, it needs lot of action scenes and for that he may be training the lead pair, opines a source from the industry. Whatever it may be, director Rajamouli chose not to reveal anything about his upcoming film this time.
