‘Having such a big part as a heroine in my debut movie makes me happy’

Must read

Happy Ending is Yash Puri’s next film. He gained recognition for his roles in ZEE5’s web film Alanti Sitralu, the comedy Cheppalani Undhi, and the newly released epic drama Shaakuntalam. With its intriguing promotional material, Kowshik Bheemidi’s lighthearted coming-of-age story is creating a lot of attention. The movie is being financed by Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy, and Anil Pallala under the banners of Silly Monks Studios and Hamstech Films.
In the latest movie “Happy Ending,” actress Apoorva Rao co-stars with youthful hero Yash Puri. On February 2, it is scheduled to open in theaters. Apoorva Rao recently offered her thoughts on the film in an interview. “I was born and raised in Ongole, but my father worked for Reliance Oil Industries, thus our family relocated to Gujarat. I grew up there and then spent a few years living in Kuwait, where I finished my elementary schooling. I completed my degree and worked for a while after coming back to India, but I wasn’t happy with my jobs. Despite my intense interest in movies, neither my parents nor friends encouraged me. My goal was to become an actor, so I enrolled in Hyderabad’s Dadasaheb Phalke Film School a few years ago. I met a few assistant directors there who recommended me for “Happy Ending” auditions. They picked me as the heroine because they required a girl who could act and speak Telugu fluently,” that was a fascinating discovery.
She went on, “I had tried out for a lot of movies before, but for whatever reasons, I never got offers. Despite being categorized as a youth pull film, “Happy Ending” is funny and enjoyable, providing a nice laugh about every ten minutes. The main theme of the movie is the hero’s issue, which keeps him from achieving his goals. His attempts to resolve this issue are delightfully shown in the story, with fun additions from Jhansi and Ajay Ghosh.”
She revealed the information while expressing her friendship with her co-star too, “Yash is a kind and amiable co-star. I had a great time working with him. His character in the film is cursed, causing issues for anyone who thinks about him. I pretend to be a girl, like Kamalini Mukherjee’s character in “Anand,” who sympathizes with and encourages a boy. In the movie, I play a yoga instructor who is perceptive and mentally tough. Having such a big part as a heroine in my debut movie makes me happy.”
Like Samantha, who selects diverse themes, or Srili, who is well-known for her dancing and performance, Apoorva also hopes to bring her individuality to the screen as an actress. Her goal is to collaborate with filmmakers such as Shekhar Kammula and gain recognition as a talented performer. Sai Pallavi’s career also serves as a motivation for her, driving her to create films that focus on content.
“Working on ‘Happy Ending’ was a collaborative experience, as most of us were new to the industry,” the actress continues. “Our recommendations were welcomed by Director Kaushik, thus it was a true joint effort. I dubbed because I think our voices make the characters come to life. But occasionally, voices like Chinmai’s might work to your advantage.”

Since Neetha Lulla is a guest lecturer at Yash’s Hams Tech Institute, she designed their costumes. Neeta Lulla was brought in to help with the fashionable design since director Kaishik was inspired by Yash’s portrayal of a modern makeup artist in the film.
