The upper air cyclonic circulation previously over southwest Telangana has shifted to North Interior Karnataka and nearby areas of Telangana and Rayalaseema.
A trough passes through an upper air cyclonic circulation over North Interior Karnataka, adjoining Telangana and Rayalaseema, at about 3.1 km above mean sea level.
Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam over the next four days, and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph are expected at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places across Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the coming week. Rainfall was reported at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few locations in Rayalaseema in the past 24 hours.
