DGP holds meet

In the backdrop of the heavy rains in Telangana in the last three days, DGP Anjani Kumar held a teleconference with SPs and Police Commissioners of rain-affected areas on Friday. He directed them to take appropriate measures to prevent any kind of inconvenience to the public.
He said that the police should operate in coordination with other departments of the district without causing any problems for the people.
The police should sensitize the public through social media about the rains and the precautions to be taken in case of a flood, he said.
The DGP also said that the flood situation in the state, especially in North Telangana, is severe, and in such circumstances, the people expect help from the police department.
