Hidden cam scam fabricated by ‘blue’ media: Nara Lokesh

An investigation is currently underway concerning the issue of hidden cameras at SR Gudlavalleru Engineering College. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is personally monitoring the situation, regularly consulting with the district Superintendent of Police (SP) and Collector. The SP has designated CI Ramanamma as the lead investigator for this case. Under her guidance, female police officers and staff from various areas have been assigned to the investigation.
In the meantime, a video of Koduru SI Sirisha behaving inappropriately with students has gone viral. The Chief Minister has expressed his disapproval of the police officer’s conduct, stating that it is unacceptable for authorities to mistreat students who are already in distress. Such behaviour will not be tolerated. An explanation has been demanded from the police officials regarding the incident. The officials clarified that SI Sirisha was not part of the investigation team. The Chief Minister suggested that the authorities should better understand the students’ concerns and reassure them.
On a separate note, Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh dismissed the claims about hidden cameras in the ladies’ washrooms at SR Gudlavalleru Engineering College.
The minister alleged that the entire issue was fabricated by Blue Media to distract the public from various scams over the past five years. Speaking to the media after visiting rain-affected low-lying areas in the Mangalagiri constituency on Sunday, the minister accused YSRCP leaders of being involved in multiple scams, including the Mumbai actress harassment, liquor scam, land grabbing scam, and sand scam. To divert attention from these scandals, he claimed the YSRCP had orchestrated the hidden camera scandal.
He questioned whether anyone had seen the camera or the alleged videos, which purportedly number over 2,000. The minister added that he cares for students as he would his sisters, unlike YS Jagan, who he accused of sending his family away.
