HM Anitha alerts officials to meet flood challenge

In response to the low pressure system developing in the Bay of Bengal, Disaster Management and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has directed district officials to be on high alert. Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, she emphasised the need for caution and preventive measures to ensure no loss of life.
Minister Anitha communicated with the district collectors of Eluru and Anakapalli, regions severely affected by rains and floods, to review the current measures in place. She advised the officials to alert residents in low-lying areas to remain vigilant. The minister confirmed that control rooms have been established in every district.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Anitha visited Tirumala on Friday for the darshan of the presiding deity, making the climb to the Tirumala hill on foot from Alipiri foothill.
