Homecoming of old horses

Following regime change, old horses are galloping to Andhra Pradesh. Senior Indian Revenue Service officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary is now the Joint Executive Officer of TTD. During the previous TDP government’s tenure, he served as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited. He had joined the state service in 2016 and continued for three years. However, following the change in government in 2019, Chowdary chose to return to his parent cadre. Ake Ravi Krishna (IPS: 2006: AP), Deputy Director, Intelligence Bureau, was repatriated to his cadre from Delhi. A V Rajamouli has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister. Rajamouli is a 2003 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. The Union government has been quickly sending back officers on request of the state government, reflecting rare bonhomie between TDP and BJP.
